OUC members need to follow the policy of the libraries to which they visit.

　Conditions　

Conditions are variable depending upon the policy of the library you apply to. For example, it varies how you are admitted and can identify yourself:
e.g.)
1. by just presenting your students/members ID card
2. by bringing a letter of introduction from your university
3. by contacting and making an arrangement in advance, etc...

* It is strongly recommended to check the library's condition before you visit. > See the list of academic libraries
* If you have any difficulty of checking the condition, feel free to ask at the OUC Library's counter.

　Letters of introduction　

・A letter of introduction can be issued at the counter, although the service is limited to OUC members only.
・Issuing the letter could take days; you are advised to make a request as early as possible.
・A letter to libraries which require a prior application, such as one of prestigious universities in metropolitan area, will be issued only after your request is accepted by the library.

Basically, for those wishing to use the mutual-use service among university libraries in Hokkaido district, only presenting your student ID card is required.
