| 授業の目的・方法 ／Course Objectives and method |
This course is aimed to enhance students’practical skills in speaking and knowledge for better communication in English. Active listening is emphasized, so students will speak in English as much as possible in class with partners or in small groups, as well as out of class with native speakers. | ||
| 達成目標 ／Course Goals |
Through this course, the students will be able to take part in English conversations and discussions with both native and non-native speakers of English. Their listening as well as speaking skills will be enhanced as a result of extensive speaking training and they will gain confidence in their speaking abilities. | ||

1. Introduction to the course 2. Preparation for the interview: (1) Decide topic (2) Make questions (3) Practice for Interview 3. Sharing about the interview: (1) Preparation for sharing (2) Individual Practice (3) Consider the discussion topic (4) Sharing in the group 4. Preparation for reporting session: (1) Summarization (Sum up the things you have discussed in your group)(2) Summarization (Decide what to pick up or not for reporting)(10min) 5. Reporting session: (1) Reporter 1 (summary of the report) (2)Reporter 2 (summary of the discussion) (3) Q & A 6.
