授業の目的・方法
/Course Objectives and method
This course will enhance students’ enjoyment of reading English, build their reading skills, and develop their vocabulary. The course will engage students with content-rich, high interest readings related to the academic content areas of tourism and hospitality, earth science, sports and fitness, and political science. Students will complete a variety of pre- and post-reading activities including writing.

The objectives are:
(i) Develop fluency and confidence in reading and writing.
(ii) Develop strategies for reading comprehension
(iii) Increase vocabulary knowledge
(iv)  Gain knowledge of a wide range of academic areas
