| 授業の目的・方法 ／Course Objectives and method |
The aim of this course is for students to be able to understand and discuss, to some extent, the issues in the reading passages of each unit. Each unit consists of three sections, each with a variety of reading comprehension, vocabulary, discussion, and writing exercises Most of the activities will be done in class. The writing section, as well as what cannot be covered in class, will be assigned as homework. . |

| 成績評価の基準 ／Grading Criteria |
- There must be a balance between the percentages listed in “Grading”, that means, for example, a student CANNOT get 30% on the exams and do not hand in homework assignments. To get a passing grade, students must get at least 60% in each of the categories. | ||
