共同（受託）研究	＊　異文化におけるコミュニケーション比較： 談話分析や語用論の方法を使って，特定の場面での会話（病院での会話，学校での〔教育上の〕会話，仕事上での会話など）の主従関係について研究しています。 ＊　日本高校の英語教育。特に、日本人教師によるcommunicative language teachingの採用です。

コ　メ　ン　ト	My doctoral research uses quantitative (concordancing) and qualitative (CA) analysis to examine how doctors achieve patient-centred communication in Japanese medical consultations.

自由記入欄	My pedagogical and research goals are to combine my academic interest in the impact of national culture on interpersonal communication with my practical teaching interest of improving oral and written communication skills by Japanese learners of English within the formal educational setting of the high school and the university.
