授業の目的・方法
／Course Objectives and method		 The course objective for this course is as follows:
 Students can explain in detail about one's background or immediate surroundings, as needed.
 Can describe the circumstances and reasons behind one's experiences or recount simple events.
達成目標
／Course Goals		  Can describe simple events such as travel experiences, eco-friendly activities, and childhood memories.
 Can provide basic information about one’s own culture and social rules and express opinions in a simple manner.
 Can put together the basic information for presentations and deliver it to an audience using the grammar points learned.
 Can listen to a Japanese speech and pick up simple but important and relevant information.
 Can read and comprehend informative articles, simple description of things, and follow easy folktales.
 Can write diaries, simple blogs and emails.
 Can read and write some new150+ kanji

／Preparation and review class		  Students are expected to study vocabulary prior to each new lesson. Approximately 1-2 hours of preparation/review each day is expected.

 The schedule may change depending on the number of students in the class.
 This class emphasizes mutual understanding through conversation with people from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
 Please follow the instructions given as needed for the use of electronic devices such as cellphones, tablets and computers. Please refrain from using the above devices in class, except for studying Japanese.
