授業の目的・方法
/Course Objectives and method
In this class, the students will improve their English through learning about different forms of art of the world.

To improve one's English skills by learning and talking about the diversity of art.
授業内容
/Course contents
Each class will consist of a 30-minute lecture on a form of art (such as painting or architecture) based on a handout provided by the instructor. For the next 30 minutes, the students will form a round table to consult the library books related to the discussed form of art. After that, each student will briefly explain to the class what they have found interesting among the books they have read. Lastly, the students will watch a Youtube video related to the topic.

成績評価の基準
/Grading Criteria
Weekly attendance is required. Absence for a justifiable reason will not be counted towards the attendance.

The final talk will consist of each student presenting to the class any one work of art and explaining its artistic significance within five minutes. No slides, scripts, or handouts will be allowed.
