授業の目的・方法
/Course Objectives and method
To Improve your English speaking ability using the TBLT method.
There are three main goals in this class. First, the students' communication abilities will be enhanced. Second, Students' knowledge of English will be enhanced. Third, students' motivation and autonomy to use English will be enhanced. The core of this class will be what are called tasks. In doing the tasks, Students will be able to improve their interaction ability significantly. You will use the grammar you know and students will study listening and vocabulary. A requirement of doing the task is that students use English to do the task. This may sound difficult but I believe students know more English than they think they know. Because I trust in students' knowledge of English, I give few explicit examples. This is so you may be more free in using your language. Give it your best!

#1 Orientation and Student Introductions.
The plan for this lesson is for the students to be introduced to the requirements of the class and for the students to introduce themselves to the teacher and others using English. No special preparation is needed.

The plan for this lesson is for the students to use language for describing the location of objects in relation to each other. There will be listening and speaking in the lesson.

This unit will begin with language for describing the locations of buildings. This will be listening. Next, the students are introduced to language used for giving directions.
#10 Asking for and giving directions (continued).
For this unit, the students will continue to use language for giving directions.
#11 Stating opinions and making a decision.
In this unit, the students will be introduced to language used for stating opinions. Next, the students will practice language where they have to come to a mutual decision on a topic.
#12 Talking about environmental problems.
In this class, students will discuss current environmental problems. After this, students will discuss how environmental problems can be solved. There is preparation
homework where the students write about an environmental problem.
#13 Mental mapping.
In this class, the students will discuss various areas of the world. They will pool their mutual knowledge to come to decisions about which areas they would like to live in.
