授業の目的・方法
/Course Objectives and method
The aim of this class is to improve intercultural understanding and to enhance cross-cultural communication skills through interaction with people from different cultures. The course will focus on Central and Eastern European countries.

During the semester, course participants will have the chance to meet online with speakers from Croatia, Hungary, Poland and North Macedonia.

Grading will reflect the degree of achievement of goals a-c as follows:

Able to collect relevant data
Participate actively in class discussions
Engage in communication with overseas virtual guests
100-90: exceptional contribution to the class

89-80: strong performance
79-70: meets expectations
69-60: meets expectations with support
59-0: performs below expectations
