授業の目的・方法
/Course Objectives and method
The course is designed to provide a range of learning opportunities, materials and activities that help students improve their fundamental skills for English communication and academic performance. In particular, TOEFL is one of the foci in this course, and students are expected to familiarise themselves with its test format and learn about the ways to improve their test scores. In addition, the course helps students to develop their four linguistic skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in English.

In anticipating relative ease of the COVID-19 pandemic and small class size of this course in 2022, the course is expected to be held face-to-face or potentially through the hybrid use of both online and face-to-face interactions. The mode of delivery (whether it be face-to-face, online or hybrid) will be notified prior to the first class and discussed in class with the students enrolled. If you have any difficulty in accessing these technologies, please contact the instructors for further assistance.
