／Course Objectives and method
|This course focuses on basic English skills. Students in this class can practice and learn English at their own pace, in a relaxed atmosphere. Language is best learned through using it. The teacher will make the content easy enough for any student to participate but challenging enough to make the course useful for improving English speaking skills. The goal is to improve confidence to participate in everyday conversation. The content and pace of the class will be adjusted to the ability of the class as a whole.|
*The course materials are now being developed. Every week there students will engage in a conversation practice about an everyday topic.

**Most of the speaking practice is done in-class. There are no notes you can copy from classmates. Therefore, attendance is vital to improving English and doing well in the class.
