Course Objectives
This course is designed to provide each student with a key set of logical tools that will be applied to real world economic problems, such as decisions made by consumers and firms, and the effects of government policies in the marketplace. Students will learn how to apply microeconomics to comprehend and critically evaluate arguments made in public policy debates.

Grading Policy
We will have a mid-tem exam (40%) and a final exam (40%) during the course. In additon, each student will be asked for regular submissions of homework assignments (20%).
