Otaru Station Plaza (also known as "Yume Port") is a place to deepen exchanges between OUC and Otaru citizens. Anyone who is interested in OUC is welcomed.　Along with this, visitors can borrow OUC Library's materials at Yume Port.

Conditions

1. Qualification
   Visitors who wish to use the Library materials must register first. To register, you must bring your valid identification such as a driver's license or passport. Click here to get specific information for visitors.
   
   
2. Loan limits
   Loan periods vary by material type and user category, so consult Borrowing, Returns, Renewals and Reservations for their loan periods.
   
   ●Loan limits are same as External borrowers written in the Regulation of the Library
   • The volume of loan is up to 3.
   • The loan period is 16 days.

Application

Most of the Library's holdings can be found in OUC OPAC (online public access catalog). Visitors who wish to borrow the library's materials at Yume Port may apply as follows.

(A) In person

You can apply at Yume Port in person. There are Internet-connected computers, so you can search materials at Yume Port.

(B) By telephone, fax or mail

You can apply directly to OUC library by a phone call, e-mail or fax. (This service is for those who have already registered.)

The form is also available at the counter of Yume Port.

Borrowing

・You are informed after materials that you request are available, so you can get them at Yume Port. (It usually takes about 1- 2 days.)

・Your Library ID card is required when you receive the materials.　If you don't have it, please check out the materials at the counter with your identification (driver's license, passport, etc.).

Returns

・You can return the Library's materials either to Yume Port or OUC library.

・You may not renew the loan period at the OUC Station Plaza (OR: Loan period renewals cannot be requested at Yume Port).
