The Center for Language Studies at Otaru Shodai
Staff The Center for Language Studies (CLS) was founded as a ministry-certified institute in October, 1991, for the purpose of pragmatic, cross-cultural study and education of foreign languages.&nbsp The CLS reorganized the existing staff originally involved in teaching foreign languages in our university, and progressively developed audio-visual rooms that had a long tradition into new multi-purpose facilities with multimedia capabilities.&nbsp Thus we strive to contribute to building the character of our students in the hopes of developing in them a global view through language education so that they might contribute to bettering our society and to contributing to the global community.
